An interesting Sasanian overstrike

SASANIAN KINGS. Khosrau II, 591-628. Follis (Bronze, 29 mm, 9.40 g), imitating a Byzantine follis of Phocas and Leontia, Theoupolis (Antiochia), struck during the Sasanian occupation of Syria, 610-629. Phocas and Leontia and standing facing, each crowned and holding cross-tipped scepter in right hand; cross above. Rev. Large M in center; above, cross; in fielt to left, A/N/N/O; in field to right, [regnal year]; below, [officina letter]; in exergue, THЄЧP'. Pottier Class II(1), 4.4. Attractive earthen highlights. Heavy traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.
